Eric Spiller

Eric Spiller has been a valued member of the Tinora community for 46 years, serving as a teacher, Elementary Principal, and coach. He currently manages the Tinora Performing Arts, inspiring both students and audiences. A 1969 graduate of Northmont High School, he earned his degree from Defiance College in 1973 and a Master’s from the University of Toledo.

Eric began his career at Napoleon City Schools before dedicating himself to Tinora. Since 1990, he has participated in 49 Fort Defiance Players productions, both on stage and behind the scenes.

Outside work, Eric has been married to Jeanie for over 52 years and they have two children and six grandchildren. He reflects on his life with gratitude for his family and community.

Emilie Parsons

Emilie Parsons, a proud Tinora High School alumna, brings over 15 years of marketing expertise to her role as Director of Marketing & Grants/Fundraisers. Deeply passionate about the Tinora community, Emilie is dedicated to fostering growth and connection.

Jeff Schliesser

Jeff Schliesser, a Tinora High School graduate of 2011, holds a Bachelor's in Middle Childhood Education from Bowling Green State University. Passionate about science, he now leads the planetarium, inspiring students to explore the wonders of astronomy.

NORTHEASTERN LOCAL SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT

Nicole Wells

Nicole Wells has devoted her career to education and community leadership. Now starting her sixth year as Superintendent of Tinora Schools, she is known for her student-centered approach and commitment to excellence. Previously, Nicole served as Tinora Elementary Principal and began her career as a 5th-grade teacher. She also coached high school volleyball, demonstrating her dedication to mentoring students both in and out of the classroom.

Sara Buchhop

Sara Buchhop, treasurer of Northeastern Local School and a proud Tinora graduate, brings over 15 years of school finance experience. Grateful to return to Ram Country, she is excited to help grow the Tinora Performing Arts Center, showcasing student talent and community performances.
